Unfortunately, what I was going to recommend is the Flies Be Gone Fly Trap or the Advantage Fly Trap. These traps attract and capture flies. The Flies Be Gone is disposable, the Advantage is cleanable and reusable, just replace the attractant.

Here is what most kennels and dog "pooper scoopers" do to control flies. First they remove all dog poop and place in a trash bag (even inside the trash can). Be sure to keep it tied closed. Use lots of bleach. Trash cans, sidewalks, kennels, even grass, rocks, etc, get hosed down regularly with a bleach water mix. In case you can't use bleach because of turf grass, etc, you can also use Ammonia. Ammonia is actually Ammonium Nitrate which is the same thing used in most fertilizers. Can EZ Strike Fly Bait Station with bait kill yard flies that show up when we cook out and eat out in the yard?

That is wishful thinking since flies can detect smells from hundreds of yards away. These bait stations are intended to be used as a outer perimeter "zone" application and to help knock down existing fly infestations. They are effective in situations where flies are a constant problem such as barns, poultry coups, warehouses, etc.

Placing them outside and then firing up the grill and hoping that they won't be around won't work.

Golden Malrin is a great lower priced fly bait that can be used as a scatter or placed in fly bait stations. I know that it can be confusing sometimes when you purchase something and later find out that something was not included.

I understand it the bait is bought separately. Is the container that holds the bait supplied with the bait station?

The EZ Strike Fly Bait Station contains 2 red pans that hold the fly bait. These pans slide inside the station and then the lid is closed. All fly bait is sold separately. What would you recommend for installation and placement in a restuarant?

This type of bait tray should only be used outdoors. They work well when placed on outer perimeter areas. A station should be placed every 10 or so feet and contain a good quality bait that is replenished frequently. They are great for outdoor seating areas etc. They should not be placed inside of kitchens and dining areas. Electric fly traps that contain glue boards should be used in indoor areas.
