Tengard can be used on dogs (not cats) over 12 lbs. There is no restriction on weight. Basically, dilute 1/4 oz Tengard in 1 1/4 gallons of water and use as a dip. Wear gloves and using a sponge, squeeze the sponge out over the dog wetting everything but his face. Be sure to wet behind the ears, tail, under legs, etc. Wet thoroughly and let drip dry. That's it. You can also spray the yard with Tengard. Here is a link to the label - http://www.epestsupply.com/labels/ten...

Tengard will kill grubs, but is not the best product. What I recommend is a systemic insecticide such as Dominion, Merit or Premise. These products are more specific to grub control and will kill grubs when they eat the roots of the grass. Tengard only kills grubs that it contacts directly.

A hose end sprayer is not recommended to apply these products for grubs either. While a hose end sprayer is great for some fertilizers, it will dilute the insecticide to the point of it being ineffective. The only way to mix pesticides with any precision is to mix them in a tank sprayer and apply them with a tank sprayer.

Tengard is not labeled for Bed Bugs. Here is a complete page that lists the products that are labeled for them -

No. The label directions on Tengard specifically state that it cannot be used as a concentrate or an emulsion (mixed with water) in fogging equipment. Here is a link to the label directions - http://www.epestsupply.com/labels/ten...

Consider using Vector Ban Plus. It contains permethrin and also is labeled for use in misters.

when and how often to spray for peach tree borers See more »
avatar
RonDawson  •
Once the peach borers get into the peaches, they are almost impossible to control. The best way to control any type of insect like this is to use a dormant oil treatment on the tree during the winter and then application of products such as Tengard as the tree is blooming in the spring. If the borers are already into the fruit, there is nothing that can be done.

In order to curb the infestation, applications of Tengard can be made every 3-4 weeks during the growing cycle. Don't apply within 30 days of harvest. Be sure to read and follow label directions.

Ground bees killer See more »
avatar
RonDawson  •
The issue with any ground infesting insect is that getting the insecticide to them to effectively kill them is usually limited to the areas where holes or crevices that lead into the nest are found. Simply pouring or spraying an insecticide through an opening in the ground may not be enough to kill a bee nest that is many feet wide, or an ant colony that is many feet deep. TenGard can be used for treating ground bees such as hornets, bumblebees, yellow jackets, etc, and is as effective as anything else on the market, but control may be limited due the size of the nest. If bees hives underground can't be stopped by using insecticides, the area may need to be excavated of dug up and the bees killed by spraying them directly. A professional bee keeper wearing a bee protection suit is probably the safest way to do this.

Do u ship to Ireland Europe See more »
avatar
RonDawson  •
Yes, we can ship this product to Ireland if it is accepted by the Ireland customs office. In some cases they may require an import permit since this is a registered pesticide in the USA. I recommend to check with them and then decide if it is worth the cost and effort. If OK to import, I can get you an estimated shipping cost.
