Termidor SC is America’s leading termite control product with over 4 million structures treated.

  • Termidor SC is a non-repellent, it is undetectable to termites.
  • Termidor SC eliminates termites by both ingestion and contact.
  • Termidor SC has a unique “transfer effect” meaning a lethal dose can be transferred to a termite inside the colony.
  • Termites forage through Termidor treated soil, unknowingly ingesting, picking up, and transferring Termidor throughout the termite colony allowing Termidor to achieve 100% colony elimination with just .06% active ingredient.
  • Termidor SC usually achieves colony elimination in 90 days and provides structural protection for up to 10 years.
  • Termidor SC can also be used as an outdoor ant control method.

  • Active Ingredient:  Fipronil 9.1%
  • Termite control: 0.80 oz. per gallon of water, 78 bottle oz. will make 98 gallons of solution and will treat 196 lineal feet of trench.
  • Termite Pre-Treatment: Use 1 gallon of finished solution per 10 sq. ft.
  • Ant Control for Outside Perimeter Treatments - Use 0.8 oz per gallon of water .  An average house takes 2 Gallons to spray around the perimeter.

I own an older home with a full basement. Termites have destroyed girders and main beams. I have recently replaced the wood and want to treat it with Termidor. How much should I use in how deep of a trench outside? And also, what grid pattern should I use for drilling holes thru concrete floor and how much liquid should I use in each hole? Thank you very much. I have went thru 60 questions/answers, and havent seen this question asked. See more »

Basically, the rate of application outdoors and indoors is the same whether you are trenching and treating soil or you are drilling and treating below the cement floor. That rate of application is 4 gallons per 10 linear feet. Outside this is easy to do, just mix the Termidor in a 5 bucket (mark off the 4 gallon line) and apply the full 4 gallons every 10 feet. Then cover up the trench and go to the next 10 feet. The trench is only about 3-4 inches deep and wide, although the label says 6 inches.

As far as drilling indoors, most of the time, treating the exterior walls and around any supporting beams or piers is all that is necessary. With Termidor, you are not creating a chemical barrier, you are creating treatment zones where the chemical can hopefully contact the termites. This is all that is needed. Once the termites have… See full answer »

For termite preconstruction treatment under slabs, foundations, etc, the best product is Termidor SC. Termidor SC appies at a rate of 1 gallon per 10 square feet under the slab. After the home is built, it applies at 4 gallons every 10 linear feet along the foundation. Depending on the overall square footage, it could take 100 - 150 gallons of diluted Termidor SC to complete the treatment.

Termidor is water based and will only penetrate as far as the water will take it. Usually about 1/4" to 1/2" at most. If you drill holes every 12" or so down the length of the wood, and halfway through it, and fill those holes with Termidor, it can actually kill the termites. If you drill into a termite gallery and inject Termidor into the gallery, then that will also kill termites.

If you sprayed all sides of the wood, ends of the wood everything, over time, it will probably kill the termites. But the termites will have to contact the Termidor at some point, and then transfer it to the other termites. This will take some time. Termidor has a transfer effect, in which those termites that are exposed to it will pass it off to… See full answer »

If is it opened, then the life should be 2-3 years if left in a garage or similar area. If left outdoors in a shed, it may only last 2 years or so.

If it is unopened, then add a year or so to the above years. In most cases, it may actually be effective much longer, but for maximum effectiveness and strength, use it within 2-3 years.

what can I use in my fogger to kill powder post beetles in my 2 foot high crawl space?
of is there a bomb fogger that I should consider? See more »

RonDawson  •
Any product that will kill powder post beetles must be made by either a brush on or spray on application. Termidor cannot be used in a ULV fogger, and bug bombs or "total" release foggers won't work.

We have a page on how to kill powder post beetles here - http://www.epestsupply.com/powder-pos...

Pesticides don't have an expiration date. They are not like pharmaceutical or food products. Some have a REL date which is the date it was released.

Termidor SC should last 5+ years in a concentrate form.

Termidor SC is a water based concentrate. It is mixed with water at a rate of .80 oz per gallon of water to make a water based liquid dilution.

This really depends on how the structure is built. Basically, however, a 3-4" deep and wide trench is dug around the outer perimeter of the home. I recommend to use a pickaxe. This has a spade on 1 end that can be used to dig the trench.

Apply Termidor at a rate of 4 gallons of mix (.75 oz of Termidor concentrate to 1 gallon of water) per 10 linear feet in the trench and then cover up the trench and smooth it out with a rake. This usually requires around 80 gallons of Termidor mix for the average home. Do the math and figure out how many gallons of mix you will need. Use this formula - linear feet divided by 10 x 4. So basically 200 linear feet divided by 10 x 4 = 80 gallons of mix… See full answer »

I have termites in yellow pine floor over a crawl space which is adjacent to my basement (used as laundry room only). Can I treat the crawl space with Termidor and follow up with Termidor exterior trench along foundation? See more »

If Termidor is legal to purchase and use in your State (you didn't mention the State), then it would be a great way to solve the problem quickly. Another great way to solve the problem is by using Baits. The Hex Pro Termite Baiting System will kill off the colony and also stop the infestation. Either way it sounds likes you are on the right track.
